Staying consistent with anti-cancer nutrition is easier when you can plan a little ahead. NutriLiv makes it simple to generate, preview, and adjust next week's meal plan before it ever becomes active, so you can shop, prep, and start your week feeling in control.

In this guide, we'll walk through exactly how to manage next week's meal plan inside the NutriLiv app.

When NutriLiv Generates Your Next Meal Plan

If you do nothing, NutriLiv will automatically generate your next week's meal plan on the fourth day of your current plan. That gives you several days of lead time to review what's coming, make any changes you'd like, and plan your grocery trip.

But you don't have to wait. If you want to see your next plan sooner, you can generate it yourself at any time.

How to Generate Next Week's Meal Plan Manually

Generating next week's plan on demand takes just a few taps:

  1. Open the weekly meal plan settings menu

  2. Select View Next Week's Meal Plan

  3. Tap the Generate button

After a brief moment, while the app does its thinking and builds a plan personalized to your survey responses, you'll see a full screen showing every meal included in next week's plan. Your new plan is built from the same personalization that drives your current week, filtered by your disease type, current treatments, side effects, experience in the kitchen, and nutritional preferences.

Previewing and Swapping Meals Ahead of Time

Once your plan is generated, you have time to scan it and make any adjustments you'd like before the week begins. If there's a recipe or dish that doesn't appeal to you, you can swap it out just like you would on your current week's plan.

Here's how:

  1. From the View Next Week's Meal Plan screen, tap Edit Plan

  2. Select any meal on any day of the week

  3. Tap Change Main Dish or Change Side Dish

  4. Browse the list of available alternatives and select your new choice

Every swap is pre-filtered based on your personal profile, so you can choose freely knowing every option fits your anti-cancer meal plan.

Using Next Week's Grocery List to Shop Ahead

One of the most practical features of the next week's meal plan is the upcoming grocery list. To use it effectively, you'll want to do your shopping a day or two before your new plan begins, so everything is ready to go when the week starts.

From the View Next Week's Meal Plan screen, tap Grocery List to jump straight to the shopping list for the upcoming week. You'll see every ingredient you need to prepare the meals in your new plan.

Here's the part that makes grocery shopping feel seamless: once next week's plan becomes your active plan, any items you've already checked off as purchased will carry over to the This Week's Grocery List tab. Nothing gets lost in the transition, and you won't have to mark the same items twice.

Why Planning Ahead Matters
